Where's the Outrage? Get Involved before it's too Late....

Where's the Outrage? Once again we find Washington has done the wrong thing for the working middle class in this great country. The 850 billion bail out bill which is referred to as a 700 billion item in the main stream press was passed by the same folks we sent to Washington to represent us, they failed us again! This group has us in 10 Trillion dollars in debt, and it is not either the Democrats or Republicans, it's the majority of them, we do applaud our elected officials who had the integrity to vote NO, to they we send a sincere Thank You for doing the right thing, to all the other elected officals that voted Yes.... Vote Them Out in November In November, we need to "fail them" and vote them out of office Over the past several years, Washington has taken this country apart, selling us out at every opportunity with their good lobbyists friends. Take Our Country Back When does this happen? How much more are we going to allow Washington to take from the Middle Class? When do we show our Voice? It's time to send a Loud and Clear message to Washington as Americans, NOT as Democrats or Republicans, but finally, as Americans. Email us with your thoughts and ideas

- Greed Lobby Writing the Bailout Bill
The largest business lobby in this country is at it again, pushing policies that favor corporate America over middle-class Americans. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is fervently lobbying for the $700 billion bailout of its greedy member companies. Of course the largest, greediest mega-businesses in this country want a $700 billion reward for their reckless practices that preyed on ordinary Americans. But that’s not enough for the Chamber of Commerce. It’s sending its droves of lobbyists to Congress to cram even more selfish, pro-greed provisions into the bill. Click here for that story.

Senator's Shady Mortgages....
Senators’ Shady Mortgages It should come as no surprise that while Americans struggle to stay in their homes, many of the powerful elites who “lead” us in Washington got special deals from the banks that issued their mortgages. Politico.com reached out to all 100 senators to find out whether they got their mortgages from embattled lender Countrywide Financial, and whether they received special terms regardless of who issued the mortgage. Of course, many senators are wealthy enough to buy one or more homes outright. And an amazing 33 senators have refused to answer any questions. Click here to read the Politico article on senators’ mortage deals. And click here to see the full survey results.

Trade Negotiators Selling Out America The United States continues to buckle to the demands of its trading partners and sell out American workers. Mega-businesses around the world are celebrating this country’s hard-line stance of giving them everything they want when it comes to visas for cheap labor. Please contact your “leaders” in Washington to tell them you’re outraged that our trade negotiators will do whatever foreign countries tell them to when it comes to “free” trade. Struggling Homeowners Left Out...

.....VERY LITTLE FOR STRUGGLING HOMEOWNERS What's in the bailout bill for you? For struggling homeowners, very little. There are slim pickings for the almost 273,000 Florida homeowners who are behind on their mortgage payments. And the more than 213,000 Florida homes already in foreclosure.

"Leaders" Pack Bailout Bill with Pork
“Leaders” Pack Bailout Bill with Pork Updated October 3rd, 2008 The senate passed a revised version of the Wall Street bailout bill on Wednesday. Of course, the bill already passed the Senate once before, and then failed in the House of Representatives. So the shameless, corrupt hacks who pass themselves off as “leaders” in Washington came up with an ingenious plan to make this travesty of a bill more appealing to the colleagues in the House: Pack it with even more earmarks, pork and wasteful pet projects. Originally the bailout was supposed to be worth $700 billion, though everyone admitted that it could really cost taxpayers more than $1 trillion. With all the added pork, we don’t even know how much taxpayers are on the hook for now. But we do know what passes for leadership in Washington: Taking a bad bill and making it worse. source: Lou Dobbs
